A Bit About Me

I’m Ben Hawes, a creative entrepreneur, musical comedy performer, and coach who knows how to turn an idea into something real. I’ve built businesses from the ground up, including my NYC-based photo booth company Rent My Booth, trusted by major brands like Travel + Leisure, The Brooklyn Museum, HelloFresh, and Framebridge.

I’ve produced and performed original musical comedy shows, toured nationally, and released an EP recorded live on tour. My entertainment work has been featured on stages across the country and highlighted in BroadwayWorld, AmNY Things To Do, and NYC.com.

Along the way, I’ve learned how to make ideas not just exciting in your head but tangible, polished, and irresistible to the people you want to reach.

Freaky With You

Freaky With You is my brand-new Halloween single arriving October 3, and it’s the most fun I’ve ever had in a studio. Think campy hooks, sly humor, and just the right amount of spooky sparkle. I wrote it and then recorded it with producer Evan Panzer, layering big beats with the kind of tongue-in-cheek storytelling that makes a Halloween anthem unforgettable.

This track is a celebration of queer joy, late-night mischief, and my own growth as a musician. A few years ago I didn’t even know how to release real music.
